Pick up a form at any Sioux City Public Library location, check off the challenges you complete, and return the tear-off section of your checklist by Monday, August 15. One grand prize winner will be announced on Friday, August 19.

Young readers will get a prize for their first three visits and on the fourth visit they can choose a free paperback book courtesy of the Friends of the Sioux City Public Library. 1st Saturday Family Storytime

1st Saturday Family Storytime is on summer break and will return in October. In the meantime, check out all the excitement coming in June and July with the Summer Reading Program!
At 11 am the first Saturday of each month, October through May, families with preschool through early elementary age children experience entertaining stories, catchy songs, and memorable rhymes. Hands-on activities extend the story beyond the pages of the book. Parking is free downtown at the Aalfs (Main) Library on weekends!
